Anti-Bullying Presentation

Are you worried about bullying in elementary school? Have you heard about the new anti-bullying statute in Massachusetts but would like to know more about it? Come to a presentation at the Mason-Rice School on Monday, December 13 from 7:30 – 9 pm, for answers to these and many other questions about bullying in the elementary grades. The speakers are Michael Thompson, PhD and Maura Healey, J.D. Dr. Thompson, a PhD psychologist, consultant, and author of Raising Cain, Best Friends/ Worst Enemies, and Mom, They’re Teasing Me is also the clinical consultant to The Belmont Hill School and has worked in more than 500 school throughout the United States . Ms. Healey is the Chief of the Civil Rights Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. In this role, she oversees the investigation and prosecution of civil rights cases in areas such as hate crimes, housing, education, public accommodation, disability and health care.
