Come find out how Starbursts and pipe cleaners can bring us together. Please join us for our first Dynamic Diversity Night on January 19th in the 5th Grade Room from 6:00 -8:00 pm, organized by the Respect for Human Differences Committee.
Free pizza, drinks, and dessert will be served at 6:00 pm and the program will run from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
This family evening will feature several creative and fun activities designed to stimulate sharing and discussion among the participants about how we identify ourselves in terms of culture, religion, race, gender, family structure, and other identities and how we experience those identities in the Zervas community and beyond. Students in 2nd grade and older will probably get the most out of the evening, but students in K and 1st who are able to share their thoughts and listen to others are welcome to join us.
This evening is a great opportunity to open up conversations about diversity among our families at Zervas in a fun and dynamic way. Come make new friends and deepen older friendships. We look forward to seeing you on the 19th!
If you have any questions about the evening and its activities, please contact Amy Behrens (mother of Anna and Marina Jacobs) at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 617-777-2080.
Please RSVP by January 17th to Amy if you plan to come so that we can have the right number of pizzas and other supplies.
