Save the date: International Walk to School Day

Join your friends and neighbors and walk to school. ZERVAS has played a great role in our local Safe Routes To School effort. Let’s lead the City of Newton in number of students walking to school on this important day. Be one of millions of kids from almost 50 countries around the world walking.  The goal of this day is to show communities how great it is when students get out of the car and walk to school via the sidewalks.

– Safety first! Use a map to plan your route. Make sure to cross with our fabulous crossing guards.

– Join your neighborhood walking route. Show your kids how great it would be to walk every day. Walk with neighbors to meet up on one of these routes, organize a “walking school bus”, or make your own route. Make walking buddies that can continue throughout the year.
