Co-Presidents’ Letter

Dear Zervas Families,

We hope you are enjoying the warm weather of the last few days, and the longer days that are upon us!

The auction was a great success, and we hope that most of you were able to attend and enjoy this wonderful evening.  We wanted to acknowledge the tremendous effort on the part of the auction committee and its dedicated co-chairs Elaine Goldberg, Lyla Goldstein, Kristin Knuuttila and Jillian Queen.  A special thanks to committee members Barbara Talvitie, Alicia Collins, Kathleen Murray, Alison Glastein and Aimee Sprung for all their hard work. We also wish to thank Tony Abbiati for acting as Master of Ceremonies, and also toast Amy Waksler for providing her wonderful homemade chocolates for dessert.  We are so lucky to have such a dedicated group of people work on the auction, and to have so many parents attend and donate to this important effort.

Kindergarten Soccer’s Spring season begins this Saturday, and Newton Serves takes place later in the month, on April 28th.  Please keep an eye out for information about helping serve- right at Zervas.  The PTO Nominating Committee, headed by Amy Waksler, is also interested in hearing from you about ways in which you might want to get involved in the PTO next year.  Please e-mail Amy Waksler at amywaksler@gmail.com if you are interested, or have questions about any of the committee openings.

As always, please check the PTO calendar for upcoming activities http://zervaspto.org/calendar/ or e-mail one of us at pto@zervaspto.org.
