APRIL 8, 2016, 7 to 10 PM
Newton South High School, 140 Brandeis Rd, Newton
Come celebrate the global music experience that students enjoyed this fall. Crocodile River Music brings the music of Mali, Brazil, Spain and Trinidad, and the instruments and dances that celebrate these cultures to Newton. Join musicians from Bamako, Mali and Boston, Massachusetts for an evening of world class entertainment in your own backyard. Tickets are $35 and include complimentary wine, beer and light fare. This is certain to be a fabulous event for a 21+ audience.
Can’t attend on April 8, but want to create some Global Music of your own? Issa Coulibaly, Crocodile River Music’s master djembe drummer, is offering a one hour drumming lesson for 10 people! He will bring all of the equipment to you. Imagine a birthday party for children, a unique evening for teens, or a celebration for you and your friends!
Drumming raffle tickets are $10/each or 3/$25. Valued at $150
