Cold Spring Park Week Events: June 3-7

June 3-7 is Cold Spring Park week at Zervas! Local naturalist Sam Jaffe is a Scientist-in-Residence at Zervas. Sam’s time with Zervas is funded by the PTO, which supports and fosters our school’s curriculum enrichment.

The Zervas PTO has some activities planned for adults so you, too, can learn more about Cold Spring Park. Join us for a walk around Cold Spring Park and then join your child on Friday to visit the Nature Museum after school.

Guided Walks/Family Events ~ Cold Spring Park

  • Monday-Thursday, June 3-6, 8:30 a.m. Morning guided walks in the park. Meet outside the main entrance to the school at 8:30 a.m. Walks will be led by Zervas parents who know the park well. (Note, no walk is planned for Friday due to the Volunteer Appreciation breakfast in the library, to which all volunteers are invited).
  • Friday, June 7, 3:00-4:00 p.m. Nature Museum open to families.  Come see artifacts and specimens from Cold Spring Park.  Meet in Room 313.
