“Together We Stride” at the Autism Speaks Walk this Sunday, October 6
Join the “Together We STRIDE” Zervas team for our first annual Autism Speaks Walk! Autism Speaks Walk is the world’s largest autism fundraising event, dedicated to improving the lives of people and families living with autism.
STRIDE is one of many programs and services offered by the Newton Public Schools to support students with autism and their families. Within the 22 schools that make up the Newton Public Schools, there are seven locations of STRIDE: NECP (the integrated preschool), Zervas, Cabot and Countryside (for elementary level), Brown (for middle school level), and both Newton North and Newton South (for high school level).
STRIDE provides its students with Structured Teaching through Research and Intensive Developmental Experiences. Within a substantially separated environment each unique individual can acquire skills at their own pace and join inclusion successfully, when they are ready and able.
Staff, families and friends of STRIDE Programs at all seven locations will join the Autism Speaks Walk of Greater Boston as a team: “Together We STRIDE” and would love to have your support!
Please visit the Zervas STRIDE Page at Autism Speaks Walk – Team Zervas to join the walk, donate, or simply share words of encouragement!
