First-ever Zervas Cardboard Challenge
Saturday, January 4, 2:30-4:30pm
Start saving your cardboard boxes for the January 4th Cardboard Challenge. Feel free to break boxes down for easier storage and transport.
At the Cardboard Challenge participants will re-use these cardboard boxes to brainstorm crazy ideas, build and test their creations, then play and interact with each others’ creations. Participants might make anything from marble mazes in pizza boxes to human whack-a-moles as well as robots, miniature dunk-tanks and life-size pod racers. The goal of the Cardboard Challenge is to create a fun learning experience that fosters 21st century skills like creativity, resourcefulness, perseverance, collaboration, and critical thinking.
We encourage everyone who attends to participate – kids of all ages, siblings, parents, grandparents, etc… there is no age limit on being creative! Plan on coming even if you don’t have cardboard to bring – we’ll have extra.
