We hope you were able to attend the Spring Auction last weekend. What a fun and fabulous event!! The evening was terrific down to the last detail, thanks to the hard work and commitment of the Auction co-chairs Heidi Gambino, Helen Haley, Erin Jospe and their wonderful volunteer staff. The dedication, time, and energy that they give back to the school is very much appreciated. A big thanks also goes out to all of the parents who attended and participated in the bidding. The funds raised at the Auction are a large part of the PTO’s annual income, which all the students benefit from.
Coming up on Thursday of this week at 7pm at Zervas is the screening of “That’s a Family”, a film for kids about family diversity. After the film, we will break into smaller discussion groups facilitated by teachers and members of the Respect for Human Differences Committee. This event is open to Zervas families and parents are expected to accompany their children.
Tuesday, March 22nd is Newton’s Unplugged night. Zervas will not have a formal event, but no homework will be given and we hope families will take the opportunity to turn off all of the electronics in your home and play a game or read with your children.
Thanks, Caroline Wilson and Jane Spitz
