May is bursting with events we hope you and your kids will enjoy. The greening of Zervas is happening on many levels. We’ve kicked off the Green Lunch Program and the Walk/Bike to School effort. Reuse, recycle, reduce and as the plants and trees around us turn green, on Sunday, May 15th, please join the clean-up of Zervas grounds during NewtonServes. Preregistration (http://www.newtoncommunitypride.org/NewtonSERVES-volunteer.php see bottom of the form to select Zervas School Grounds Improvements) is helpful but NOT required. Towards the end of the month, the Library Gift Book Sale will be held. Get your kids thinking now about honoring a favorite teacher or staff member with a book dedication. Your kind words and moral support are always appreciated in recognizing the efforts our teachers and administrative staff put forth every day.
