For sixty one years children have helped raise money for other children through UNICEF while they go trick-or-treating.  On Halloween night our children collected $1,107.10 for UNICEF to help kids around the world. This is an increase of more than $200 from last year’s collection!  Here are some fun facts about the collection.  The money turned in with the oranges boxes included 211 $1 bills and 26 $1 coins, 1,729 quarters, 2,282 dimes, 1,267 nickels and 5,130 pennies.  A few people put in larger bills; therefore this does not add up to the total collected.  The money raised will be used towards medicine, educational supplies, clean water and food for children in many different countries around the world.  Congratulations to the children, and thank you for your support!
