We have changed the scheduled date and time for the CAP parent workshop for parents of students in grades K, 2, and 5. This was originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 28th at 9:00 am at Mason-Rice School. This meeting time conflicted with the visit to Zervas of one of the principal candidate finalists.

We have rescheduled the Zervas CAP parent workshop for next Monday night, March 5th at 7:00 pm in the Zervas library.

The CAP (Child Assault Prevention) workshops include information about child abuse, community responsibility toward suspected or identified abuse, and reporting of abuses and crises intervention. There will also be a detailed description of the children’s workshops that will soon take place in K, grade 2, and grade 5 classrooms. The parent workshop will include a discussion about the parent’s role in prevention education.
