Thank you to all of the runners and volunteers for participating in the 2nd annual Zervas 5K Turkey Trot! It was wonderful to kick off the morning with the kids fun run. This was followed by over 200 runners for the 5K, including runners from many grades at Zervas! We would like to send out an special thank you Madhu Natarajan for his help with many emails and to all of the volunteers: Linda Thayer, Amy Massey, Erin Grabowski, Carla Brigham, Jane Lanzillo, Kathleen Murray, Kristin Knuuttila, Ted and Ann Ritchie, Lorna Dunne, Justin Pond, and Leigh Gilligan. Also a special thank you to all race course volunteers: Karen Stotsky, Lisa Strope, Edie Knight, Tamiko and Chris Wagner, Brinda Tahiliani, Christine Lesburg, Anne Snelling-Lee, Mary and Ted Hoppe and Tony and Gavin Abbiati who kept everyone on track!

Thank you for all of your generous donations for the Newton Food Pantry, we delivered 32 bags filled with requested items. There are 600 people that use the Newton Food Pantry and there is still time to bring in your donation items. We will be collecting them until Friday, December 5th, please drop them off in the box outside the front office.

Lastly we would like to thank the Newton Police Department and all of our sponsors: Salon Capri, Waban Kitchen, Whole Foods, Starbucks, Yogurtland, Greater Boston Running Company, Launch, and Boston Sports Club for their generous donations.
