This year the Zervas 5th graders are raising money for The Animal Rescue League of Boston. This charity is dedicated to rescuing pets and wildlife from suffering of any kind. They have three shelters in Boston, Brewster, and Dedham. In 2015, over 13,300 animals received care and assistance through all ARL programs and services. The ARL receives no government or public funding to carry on this important work. They rely solely on the generosity of individuals like you to help animals in need.
One way that we are going to be fundraising is by placing bins in Zervas classrooms. This is called the Make Change Drive and the 5th grade would really appreciate it, if you would bring change in to your classrooms to contribute. This change can be brought in anytime from March 21st – April 1st. Our goal is to raise $750 school wide, but we also asked each class to set a goal. Some classes set a $50 goal, while others set a goal of $100 or more.
