Dear Families:
This is your chance to host an international student! This is the fourth year the English Language Learning Program of the NPS has administered the Visiting International Student program, and we’ve hosted students from all over the globe. This year, we have students from a variety of countries including Italy, Colombia, China, Brazil, Spain, Thailand, Indonesia, and Germany. These friendly and motivated students have added so much to our Newton South High School community.
The potential students are screened by a company called Educatius International. At this time, we are still in need of several more host families for next fall. Full year and half year options for hosting are available. Families who open their homes and hearts to these students make this intercultural learning experience possible. Past families, with children of all ages, have told us how much they have learned from the experience. Connections are made that last well beyond the duration of the visit.
