Books help small kids get through long days in juvenile court hallways.
Bring your good quality used books for children ages 0 to 5 to the home of a board member in Waban on Tuesday, November 14 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Stay for conversation, wine and appetizers. RSVP to Jenn@onecanhelp.org for the event address, or to make alternate drop-off arrangements.
80% of children and families in the juvenile court system live in poverty. One Can Help, a nonprofit created by a Newton mother and court-appointed attorney twelve years ago, provides critical resources to these underserved families, children or parents with disabilities, kids in foster care, and victims of abuse or neglect.
