Join other Zervas families on Sunday, May 5 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. for an afternoon of trail work.
- Add wood chips along the trail extension between the loop trail in Cold Spring Park and Beacon St. near the Zervas parking lot
- Collect trash from that area and around Zervas
- Clear debris from the trail
- Identify and pull invasive plants such as garlic mustard (2-3:30 p.m.) with the Newton Conservators.
Register through Newton Serves or on site. Children of all ages are welcome along with a supervising adult. Wear closed shoes, long pants tucked into socks, garden gloves. Bring rakes, shovels for wood chips, and wheelbarrows. **Even if you aren’t able to attend, we would love to borrow your wheelbarrow**
Email Jenn Martin (jamartin77@gmail) with questions or if you have a wheelbarrow to lend that day.
The official Newton Serves day is April 28 so you can also participate in a project that day or join in the other festivities. Check them out here.
