From the Zervas Green Team: Green Wednesdays

The Z Green Team at Zervas has been working hard on promoting environmentally friendly initiatives and awareness at Zervas. We are now launching a new initiative to celebrate positive environmental actions called GREEN WEDNESDAYS.

Every Wednesday:
WEAR BLUE or GREEN clothes
WALK, BIKE or take the BUS to school
Bring/Use REUSABLE snack/lunch and water containers that are clearly labeled.

Also, it’s not too late to sign up for the Z Green Team. If your 3rd-5th grader is interested in joining the after school club and get to work on some of these exciting environmental/sustainability projects; the next meeting is on March 25th and you can still sign up using this link (more info below)

The Z Green Team is a new student environmental club meets after school one Wednesday each month. The Z Green Team is led by the PTO Parent Green Team in partnership with 5th grade teacher Mr. Raney and a ZASP coordinator. Kids enrolled in ZASP on Wednesdays will have the opportunity to do even more through new weekly ZASP Z Green Team activities. The next meeting is Wednesday March 25th from 3:10-4:00 pm.
