This is the time of year when we plan for next year and start to secure volunteers for upcoming PTO events and initiatives. We have several PTO positions open that we’d like to fill before summer, and there will be more roles that we’ll be looking to fill in the fall. There is something for everyone, from one-off tasks to bigger and more involved commitments with our committees and our board.
We, the PTO, do all this work because we believe in our wonderful Zervas school. We believe creating community is important, helping support out students and our Zervas staff is essential, and that these elementary years are a pretty special time in our lives. Want to join in on that??
Please reach out to Dana Fernandez and Suzanne Afergan at pto@zervaspto.org to express interest and/or get more information.
Teacher Appreciation Chair: Organize and manage teacher appreciation efforts throughout the year. This mostly includes organizing teacher appreciation meals. This role has room to be creative in thinking of new ways to appreciate our teachers (i.e. Welcome Back lawn signs from this year).
School Directory Administrator: We are looking for a volunteer to help with some backend data entry and data maintenance for our online school directory.
Kindergarten Soccer: Kindergarten Soccer is our PTO’s biggest fundraiser but it doesn’t run itself. We are looking for volunteers for the 2021-2022 fall and spring seasons. Please consider volunteering some of your time towards our PTO’s biggest fundraiser. Details below.
